Todays the day to be having the conversations on what we as individuals and businesses are doing for our precious earth.

The 2022 Earth Day theme is “Invest In Our Planet” and calls on businesses to make the big and small changes now, to protect our future.

“Unless businesses act now, climate change will ever more deeply damage economies, increase scarcity, drain profits and job prospects, and impact us all.”

With 45% of Gen Z stating they have stopped purchasing from certain brands because of unsustainable practices. We know consumers value the change and work us as businesses put in to ensure our practices are mindful of our precious environment.

If you’ve read my philosophy page, you know I consciously work to respect the environment in all aspects of my business, and I’m truly proud of the practices I’ve put in place from the beginning:

Packaging - I trialled and tested many packaging solutions and was committed to ensuring single use plastic wasn’t going to be part of my wrapping or shipping methods. When you shop with me, you can rest assured I include no excess packaging, and all of it is recyclable.

Process - I knew I wanted to avoid harsh chemicals. You can read about the difference between naturally dried and chemically preserved flowers here and the process I use.

Not only today, but everyday, the little extra effort, can build to big change.
